Daily Meditation Practice: Getting Started
To begin your new daily practice, download the template of the Manifestation Practice meditation treatment.
- Download the template of the Manifestation Practice meditation treatment by clicking on the link: Manifestation Practice Template Download. Once you have it downloaded and saved to your computer, open it in Microsoft Word (or any program that can open MS Word documents) and go to Step 2.
- Editing is fun. Take this word processing document and EDIT it to insert your own desired Good and to substitute your favorite language and terms for things like “Creative Power” (i.e. “God”). Do as much editing as you like to clarify the expression of your intention. You can also make the document as long as you like, but do not leave out any of the steps. Edit and re-edit this file as many times as you like — the act of editing itself helps you to incorporate the meaning of it into your mind and life … and it’s fun! When you’re ready to use it, print it out in a font that is large enough for you to read easily.
The Practice
We recommend you do this daily activity first thing in the morning, to start your day.
- Sit and breathe. Find a comfortable meditation sitting position, with your back fairly straight, tailbone stable. If you need to lean against a wall or something, that is OK, but our minds tend to be sharper when we are in a balanced sitting (or standing) position rather than reclining. Sit and take at least three deep breaths, making a sound on each exhale (the use of the Sanskrit “Om” syllable is excellent for this).
- Read your personally edited meditation treatment to yourself. Taking the time to understand each word as your read out loud.
- Sit and breathe again, as you let yourself feel the bliss of Step Six of the Manifestation Practice called Emotional Magnetization.
- Just sit and feel the bliss — of being both spiritually magnetic through the clarity of your expressed intention and emotionally magnetic through the infectious power of your feeling. Sit and breathe in this magnetic state for as long as you want to.
- When you are finished sitting, make an intention to take this attractive consciousness with you throughout your day.
