January 21, 2010
Robert Briggs is author of Ruined Time: The 1950s and the Beat. Robert attended Auburn and Columbia Universities and served in the army during the Korean War. A bookseller in Greenwich Village and North Beach, he was involved in West Coast jazz and poetry scenes in the 1950s.
